Most forecasts tell you about a place. Ours tells you about a place in its context. We forecast the country's population from the top down and assess housing and development on the ground from the bottom up, then bring the two together, so the number for a suburb is connected to the number for its region, its state and the nation, and the reasoning is published at every level.
Search any suburb or place. We take you to the region that covers it.
Every level has forecasts, published reasoning and a release version.
Our forecasts go below suburb level, to small areas across every part of Australia. Each one is consistent with the regional, state and national forecasts above it, and they can be built up into any catchment you need, such as a school catchment, a retail trade area or a utility service area.
Suburb and place names appear in each regional analysis and in the search above, so you can find the region that covers your area. The small-area forecasts themselves are available through Placemaker or by talking to our consultants.
