About
Brisbane East SA4 is the eastern portion of the Brisbane City Council area and stretches along the coast down towards Redland Bay, encompassing the entirety of Redland City Council. It consists of established Brisbane suburbs and Redland coastal suburbs.
There are suburban areas outside of the Brisbane CBD, and new suburban communities are emerging through greenfield estates along the Redland Bay coast. Pockets of development occur along transport corridors such as Cleveland or Wynnum Centre.

The Brisbane - East region contributes around 8.5% of Brisbane’s expected growth, reflecting its role as a major growth corridor south of Brisbane and in Redland Bay. It contains greenfield expansion areas outside of the Brisbane City Council area, currently located in the Redland Bay area.
