The Community Atlas includes key socio-demographic characteristics for the City of Onkaparinga presented as interactive maps.

Based on data from the 2001 Census of Population and Housing (Australian Bureau of Statistics), each map is prepared using Census Collector Districts providing the finest level of detail to help identify spatial patterns and trends in the City.

2006 Census data

The first release of 2006 Census data by the ABS occurred on 27 June 2007. This atlas will be updated by April 2008.

In the meantime, a summary snapshot of Census 2006 data for every LGA in Australia is available at www.id.com.au along with a weekly progress report.
